GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's soccer team dropped a 3-2 decision Saturday afternoon to visiting Buffalo State (5-1) in non-conference action at Don Lyle Field.
Grove City took a 2-1 lead at the 80:44 mark when sophomore forward
Hunter Hardin (North Ridgeville, Ohio/Freeport) scored his second goal of the season. However, the Bengals scored twice in the final eight minutes to grab the lead.
Anthony Roncone tied the game at 82:05 with his first goal of the season. Buffalo State then pulled ahead at 88:29 on Zak Shaibi's unassisted score.
Grove City jumped out a 1-0 lead at 13:49 when junior defender
Aaron McFeaters (North Canton, Ohio/Hoover) scored his first goal of the season. Senior midfielder
Kennan Roewer (Colorado Springs, Colo./The Classical Academy) assisted McFeaters' goals.
Buffalo State tied the match at 21:32 on a goal by Theo Bencic.

Luke Greenway (Penn Hills, Pa./Penn Hills) stopped seven shots for the Wolverines. Buffalo State outshot Grove City, 13-11. Buffalo State had two corner kicks and Grove City registered one corner kick.
Grove City will begin a five-match road trip Tuesday with a non-conference match at Juniata. The match will start at 7 p.m.
