DELAWARE, Ohio -- The Grove City College men's soccer team concluded a three-match road trip Saturday night by dropping a 1-0 decision at perennial power Ohio Wesleyan in non-conference action at Jay Martin Soccer Complex. The match also concluded the two-day Fred Myers Invitational, which also included Kenyon and Muskingum.
Ohio Wesleyan (3-0-1) broke a scoreless tie six minutes into the second half when Jagger Brooker headed in a goal.Â

Jesse Greyshock (Tarentum, Pa./Deer Lakes) made his first start of the 2021 season and stopped five shots for Grove City. Ohio Wesleyan owned a 16-6 edge in shots, along with an 11-3 advantage in corner kicks.Â

Luke Greenway (Penn Hills, Pa./Penn Hills) and junior forward
Sam Belitz (Independence, Ohio/Independence).Â
Grove City returns home to Don Lyle Field for a non-conference match Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. against longtime regional rival Penn State Behrend.
