PITTSBURGH -- Freshman midfielder
Chris DeLucia (Kent, Ohio/Cuyahoga Valley Christian) scored 110 seconds into overtime Tueday night to lift the Grove City College men's soccer team to a 3-2 victory at Chatham in Presidents' Athletic Conference action at Graham Field.
DeLucia gave Grove City its second straight overtime win by scoring at 91:50 after receiving an assist from sophomore forward
Sam Belitz (Independence, Ohio/Independence). It is DeLucia's first career game-winning goal and his second score of the spring 2021 campaign.
Belitz factored into all three Grove City goals Tuesday night. He tied the match 1-1 by scoring an unassisted goal at 14:46. Grove City (4-1, 4-1 PAC) then took a 2-1 lead at the 29:33 mark when Belitz assisted a go-ahead goal by senior forward
Seth Wade (Winchester, Va./Sherando).
Chatham forged a 2-2 tie at 63:39 on a Gunnar Graham goal. Chatham opened the scoring when Pasqual Despinos scored 11:47 into the match.
Grove City owned a 20-8 shot edge in shots, including an 8-3 advantage in shots on goal. Grove City also recorded seven corner kicks. Chatham had one corner.

Jesse Greyshock (Tarentum, Pa./Deer Lakes) earned the win for Grove City after playing the final 46:50. Junior
Luke Greenway (Penn Hills, Pa./Penn Hills) made one save in 45 minutes of first-half action.
Belitz scored the game-winning goal in a 2-1 double-overtime win over visiting Westminster last Wednesday night at Don Lyle Field. He has a team-leading five goals and 12 points this season.
The Wolverines will host conference foe Franciscan at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Don Lyle Field.
