Clara Hannon (Grove City, Pa./Grove City) added 12 points Thursday afternoon to help lead the Grove City College women's basketball team to an 82-59 victory over Eureka at the Cruzin' Classic, held at St. Thomas University.

Hayley Fenchel (Harleyville, Pa./Souderton) all chipped in eight points for Grove City (5-3). Eleven Grove City players scored in the win, with nine scoring at least six points.
Grove City seized the lead with an 11-0 run in the first quarter. Podkul gave Grove City its first lead of the game, 10-8, when she put back her own miss. Freshman guard
Haley Hertzler (McKeesport, Pa./McKeesport) hit a three-pointer and a jumper on successive possessions to cap the run. Kallock and Podkul each hit a pair of free throws in the final 30 seconds of the quarter, helping Grove City lead 26-18 after one period.
The Wolverines then closed the first half on an 11-2 run over the final four minutes of the second quarter. Podkul scored on an out-of-bounds play as time expired to give Grove City a 49-29 halftime lead. The Wolverines led 64-49 after three quarters.
Grove City converted Eureka's 38 turnovers into 41 points. Kallock recorded six steals while Podkul had five steals. Freshman guard
Ashley Durig (Washington, Pa./Trinity) added three steals. Kallock dished out five assists and freshman guard
Mara Polczynski (Irwin, Pa./Norwin) recorded four assists.
Polczynski also grabbed a career-high eight rebounds to help the Wolverines earn a 52-41 edge on the glass. Cano had seven rebounds. Fenchel and freshman guard
Nevaeh Ewing (Sarver, Pa./Knoch) each collected six rebounds.
Grove City shot 31 of 84 (37 percent) from the field while Eureka finished 22 of 53 (41 percent) on field goals. Grove City had 24 turnovers.
Olivia Falls led Eureka (2-5) with 19 points.
Grove City will again face Eureka at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Thomas.
