NEWVILLE, Pa. -- Led by All-Region performer
Lydia Bennett (Bethel, Maine/Gould Academy), the Grove City College women's cross country team placed 15th out of 38 teams Saturday afternoon at the NCAA Division III Mid-Atlantic Region Championships, hosted by Dickinson College. Grove City finished the meet with 425 points.
A freshman, Bennett closed her rookie season by placing 28th overall with a time of 24 minutes, 37.9 seconds. By placing in the top 35, Bennett earns All-Mid-Atlantic honors.

Emma Fiscus (Brookville, Pa./Brookville) placed 83rd in a time of 25:56.0 on the 6,000-meter course while classmate
Julia Bauer (Pittsburgh, Pa./Woodland Hills) earned 92nd place (26:08.8). Freshman
Sabrina Bergey (Boyertown, Pa./Boyertown) placed 109th in a time of 26:47.6.
Junior
Abby Biddle (Grove City, Pa./Grove City) finished as Grove City's No. 5 runner with a time of 27:10.3. She captured 126th. Freshman
Kaylynn Johnson (Otisfield, Maine/Oxford Hills) finished 129th with a 27:17.8 clocking. Junior
Eliz Slabaugh (Hartville, Ohio/Lake Center Christian) rounded out the lineup by coming in 133rd place (27:30.8).
Dickinson senior Isabel Cardi won the race with a time of 22:13.0. The field consisted of 218 runners.
