LATROBE, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's tennis team pulled out a 5-3 victory Thursday evening at Saint Vincent in Presidents' Athletic Conference action. Grove City (7-3, 3-2 PAC) won two of the three doubles matches and then clinched the team win with three singles triumphs.
Darkness halted one singles match, the No. 1 singles bout between Grove City freshman
Emily Ivory (Gibsonia, Pa./Mars) and Saint Vincent's Maura Skelley. Ivory won the first set, 6-4.
Grove City will host Thiel at 3:30 p.m. Friday in conference action at Walters-Zbell Courts.
