BETHANY, W.Va. -- The Grove City College volleyball team dropped a 25-27, 25-21, 25-13, 25-19 decision Saturday afternoon at Bethany in Presidents' Athletic Conference action at Hummel Field House.
Junior
Faith Keating (Troy, Mich./Troy) posted a team-high 14 kills for Grove City (17-9, 10-5 PAC) while sophomore
Eloise Augustine (West Chester, Ohio/Mars Hill) recorded 10 kills. Sophomore
Katie Pry (Enon, Ohio/Greenon) added seven kills.
Freshman setter
Katie Kenlein (Spokane, Wash./Lewis and Clark) distributed 23 assists and freshman setter
Kennedy Kerr (East Grand Rapids, Mich./East Grand Rapids) totaled 16 assists. Keating served two aces.
Sophomore
Anna DeGraaf (Cranberry Township, Pa./Seneca Valley) led Grove City's defensive effort with four blocks. Junior
Robyn Collier (Corona, Calif./Carnegie Riverside) and sophomore
Alexis Kilmartin (Altoona, Pa./Bishop Guilfoyle) both had two blocks.
Keating recorded 30 digs and Augustine posted 17 digs. Freshman
Mya Lathem (Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio/Woodridge) added 16 digs.
Grove City will host Westminster at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in conference action.
