WAYNESBURG, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's soccer team evened its Presidents' Athletic Conference record at 1-1 by earning a 1-0 victory Saturday evening at Waynesburg in conference action at Wiley Stadium. 

Grove City (4-6 overall) took a 1-0 lead 2:44 into the match as sophomore forward Gianna D'Amato (Maywood, N.J./Hawthorne Christian) scored her second goal of the season. Senior defender Tirzah Lloyd (Durham, N.C./Homeschooled) assisted D'Amato's goal. 

Grove City outshot Waynesburg, 27-1, in the match, including a 12-0 edge in shots on goal. Waynesburg had three corner kicks and Grove City had one corner. 

Freshman goalkeeper Courtney Lisman (Mars, Pa./Mars) earned her third shutout victory of the season. 

Grove City will visit Thiel in conference play Tuesday afternoon at 4:30 p.m.
