GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's soccer team evened its Presidents' Athletic Conference at 1-1 Wednesday afternoon by earning a 2-0 victory over visiting Chatham (7-3, 1-1 PAC) at College Field.
Following a scoreless first half, Grove City broke through with a pair of goals in the final 17 minutes of the match. Senior forward
Katherine Kouzelos (Akron, Ohio/Cuyahoga Valley Christian) scored at 73:59 after blasting a shot off the inside of the goal post and into the net. Kouzelos gained possession after Chatham unsuccessfully cleared a Grove City corner kick. She now has three goals in 2017.
Six minutes later, the Wolverines (6-4, 1-1 PAC) added an insurance goal when senior forward
Elena Guerra (Arlington, Texas/Nolan Catholic) scored at 80:08. Senior forward
Lacy Harkrader (Mineral, Va./Louisa County) assisted Guerra's goal, her second goal of the season.

Trishae Winters (Pittsburgh, Pa./Hampton) stopped three shots to secure Grove City's third shutout of the season. Grove City owned a 14-7 edge in shots. The Wolverines had four corner kicks while Chatham had three corners.
Friday night, Grove City will visit conference rival Washington & Jefferson in a 5:30 p.m. match at Alexandre Stadium. Grove City eliminated W&J from the 2016 conference tournament with a 3-1 semifinal round win at Alexandre Stadium November 2.
