Amanda Snyder

Amanda Snyder joined Grove City College as assistant women's volleyball coach in August 2020. She will work closely with head coach Leo Sayles during the 2020-21 academic year. 

Snyder came to Grove City after a four-year playing career at Gordon College, located in Wenham, Mass. She played in 108 career matches for Gordon and led the team in kills in her sophomore and senior seasons. Snyder also led the Scots in aces in the 2017 and 2019 seasons. 

Snyder ranked among the team leaders in several statistical categories in each of her four seasons. She earned Second Team All-Commonwealth Coast Conference in 2017. The CCC honored her as a Third Team honoree in 2019.

Snyder has been actively involved with Fellowship of Christian Athletes Volleyball in Huntington Beach, Calif. She worked as the assistant to the director from January 2019 to July 2019. In 2018, Snyder spent seven months as the volleyball intern leader for FCA Volleyball.

She worked as an intern for FCA Volleyball from February 2017 to July 2017. 

Snyder graduated from Gordon with a bachelor's degree in both psychology and recreatiion, sports and wellness. She earned Dean's List and Presidential Honors as a student-athlete at Gordon. 

In 2019, Gordon honored her with the Eric Liddell Award, which recognized servant leadership in and outside of athletics. She has also worked with Athletes In Action and led a missions trip to Costa Rica in 2019.
