Emily Rowell enters her fourth season as Grove City College assistant women's lacrosse coach in 2026-27. She has helped Grove City capture the Presidents' Athletic Conference titles in each of her first three seasons on the coaching staff.
The Wolverines won a program-record 15 games in 2024 and earned the program's first NCAA Division III Championship Tournament berth. The 2025 squad repeated as conference champion after going 9-0 in league action.
In 2026, Grove City won a program-record 16 games while posting five shutout victories during the regular season. Senior goalie Mia Gallagher ranked fourth nationally with a 5.77 goals-against average while junior attack Taylor Blythe earned the conference's Offensive Player of the Year award.
A native of Laurel, Md., Rowell played defender for four seasons at Gardner-Webb University. She graduated with a bachelor of science degree in nursing, then worked for 2 1/2 years as a nurse in the emergency department at Duke University before coming to Grove City.
