Emily Grossman

Emily Grossman is in her second full year at Grove City College, working as assistant women's and men's volleyball coach. She also works as the College's Director of Student Recreation through the office of Student Life and Learning. 

She closely works with head coach Leo Sayles during the women's season in the fall, then assists head coach Brett Heckathorn in the winter and spring with the Grove City men's volleyball team. 

In spring 2025, Grossman helped the men's volleyball team progress through its inaugural varsity season. The Wolverines finished second in the Presidents' Athletic Conference regular season standings and later advanced to the finals of the conference tournament. 

Grossman joined the Grove City athletic department in January 2024 after working as head women's volleyball coach at Waynesburg University for four seasons. Her coaching career began as an assistant coach at Washington & Jefferson College from 2017 to 2019. 

Grossman played collegiate volleyball at Penn State Greater Allegheny. She graduated from Penn State Greater Allegheny in 2017 with a bachelor's degree in corporate communications. Grossman then added her master's degree in integrated marketing communications at West Virginia University in 2019.Â
