Brett Bernardo is in his first season as assistant men's lacrosse coach at Grove City College. He came to Grove City after spending three years as an assistant coach at his alma mater, Liberty University.
Bernardo played three seasons at Liberty and co-captained the Flames in his junior and senior seasons. As a standout midfielder, he twice earned All-America honors, as well as First Team All-SouthEastern Lacrosse Conference recognition.Â
He spent the 2012 and 2013 seasons at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.
Bernardo has been actively involved with Fellowship of Christian Athletes lacrosse, working in a variety of roles. He completed his FCA Fellows Internship in summer 2015.
A native of Clifton Park, N.Y., Bernardo graduated from Liberty in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in business marketing.
