A member of Grove City's 1999 Presidents' Athletic Conference title team, Jason Eshbaugh returns to campus for the 2018-19 season. He assists head coach Steve Lamie and assistant coach Sean Severson in all aspects of the program.Â
Eshbaugh brings 11 years of Division I basketball coaching and administrative experience to the Wolverine staff. He worked as assistant women's basketball coach at University of North Carolina-Wilmington from 2012 to 2015 after spending eight seasons (2004-2012) as director of basketball operations for Wake Forest University's women's basketball program.
Eshbaugh also worked as director of player development at Wake Forest during his tenure.Â
From 2015 to 2017, Eshbaugh worked for Student-Athlete Showcase, LLC as a college scouting director.
Eshbaugh's coaching career began as assistant boys basketball coach at nearby Mercer High School, his alma mater. He graduated from Grove City College in 2001 with a bachelor's degree in business administration. Eshbaugh then earned a master's degree in sports management from the University of Kentucky in 2005.
