Ostrander, Ohio, native Nate Weiland returned to Grove City after spending three seasons as a collegiate coach in Ohio. He recently prepares for his second season as Grove City’s defensive backs coach.
A 2016 graduate of the College, Weiland’s coaching career began at Miami (Ohio) University, where he worked as a defensive assistant during the 2016 and 2017 seasons.
In 2018, Weiland coached wide receivers at Ohio Wesleyan University.
Weiland worked as a student assistant at Grove City during the 2014 and 2015 seasons after playing outside linebacker in 2012 and 2013. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science in 2016.
