Mitch Zajicek joins the Grove City coaching staff as running backs coach for the 2017 season. A graduate of Chartiers Valley High School, Zajicek will also work with Grove City’s 22-sport varsity athletic program in his role as assistant strength and conditioning coach.
Zajicek earned four letters as a starting offensive guard and tackle for Grove City from 2013 to 2016. He started 31 career games for the Wolverines. As a freshman, Zajicek earned the team’s Rookie of the Year award after playing in all 10 games.
Zajicek graduated from the College in May with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science. He also owns Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) distinction.
