Brian Wells is in his second season as an assistant football coach at Grove City, taking over as outside linebackers coach this season.
Wells coached Grove City’s tight ends in 2015 after earning four letters as a member of the Grove City program from 2011 to 2014.
A native of Aurora, Ohio, Wells played inside linebacker and running back during his career at Grove City. He also excelled on special teams for the Wolverines. As a junior, Wells ranked third on the team with two touchdown receptions. In his freshman season, he recorded 34 tackles while emerging as a part-time starter at linebacker.
Wells also works with Mike Hoyt as an assistant strength and conditioning coach for the College’s 21-sport varsity athletic program.
