Game Recap: Women's Volleyball |

5 in a row for Wolverines

LORETTO, Pa. -- A balanced offensive attack and 12 blocks on the defensive side of the net helped the Grove City College women's volleyball team secure a 25-19, 25-27, 25-20, 25-15 win Saturday evening over host Saint Francis in a matchup of Presidents' Athletic Conference members at DeGol Arena.

Senior Sarah Hart (Marriottsville, Md./Liberty) tallied a team-leading nine kills while senior Kendra Klusch (Alliance, Ohio/Homeschooled) chalked up eight kills. Senior Alayna Dorst (Middletown, Del./Middletown) and junior Lilly Pool (Huntington, Ind./Ashland, Ohio) each recorded six kills.

Senior setter Sarah Harris (Lebanon, Ohio/Mars Hill) and junior setter Brooke Manfull (Wadsworth, Ohio/Wadsworth) both served three aces while Dorst added a pair of service aces. Manfull led the Wolverines with 15 assists and Harris posted 10 assists.

Pool led the Grove City defense with seven blocks while senior Lily Lagaras (Crofton, Md./Crofton) recorded six blocks. Klusch posted five blocks and sophomore Taylor Ripple (New Bethlehem, Pa./Redbank Valley) added three blocks.

Junior Lilly Wojtala (Copley, Ohio/Revere) accumulated a team-leading 15 digs. Freshman Reagan Riordan (Sewickley, Pa./North Allegheny) recorded 10 digs and Manfull chipped in eight digs.

Saturday's match does not count in the conference standings as Saint Francis is a provisional member of NCAA Division III while transitioning from Division I. The Red Wolves are playing full conference schedules in 2026-27.

Winners of five straight matches, Grove City (13-3) opens a four-match homestand Wednesday at 7 p.m. against conference rival Geneva.
