BROCKPORT, N.Y. -- The Grove City College women's volleyball team improved to 8-1 overall Saturday by earning two victories at Brockport State in Jim and John Vlogiantis Gymnasium. Grove City opened the day with a 25-23, 25-16, 19-25, 25-20 victory over host Brockport State. The Wolverines then swept Hilbert in Saturday's finale, winning by scores of 25-12, 25-17 and 25-18.
Two Grove City players produced double-digit kill totals against Brockport State as senior
Sarah Hart (Marriottsville, Md./Liberty) posted 13 kills and senior
Alayna Dorst (Middletown, Del./Middletown) added 10 kills. Junior
Lilly Pool (Huntington, Ind./Ashland, Ohio) contributed eight kills.Â

Sarah Harris (Lebanon, Ohio/Mars Hill) served a match-high four aces and also tallied 17 assists. Junior
Brooke Manfull (Wadsworth, Ohio/Wadsworth) paced the Wolverines with 18 assists.Â

Lily Lagaras (Crofton, Md./Crofton) led Grove City with six total blocks. Pool had five blocks and senior
Kendra Klusch (Alliance, Ohio/Homeschooled) added three solo blocks.
Junior
Lilly Wojtala (Copley, Ohio/Revere) recorded a team-high 19 digs. Dorst added nine digs.Â
Hart also led Grove City's offense against Hilbert as she tallied eight kills in two sets of action. Dorst and Lagaras each had five kills. Harris and Manfull both had 14 assists. Hart and Manfull both served three aces while rookie
Reagan Riordan (Sewickley, Pa./North Allegheny) had two aces.Â
Freshman
Caitlin Penola (Zionsville, Ind.) led the Wolverines with nine digs. Harris, Manfull and Riordan all had seven digs.Â
Grove City will visit Carnegie Mellon at 7 p.m. Wednesday in non-conference action.
