GROVE CITY, Pa. – An eight-man senior class, which includes a pair of returning United Soccer Coaches Division III All-Americans, will help lead the Grove City College men's soccer team in its defense of the Presidents' Athletic Conference title this fall.

Senior midfielder Noah Gray (Glen Mills, Pa./The Christian Academy) and senior center back Colton Hudson (Murrysville, Pa./Franklin Regional) both captured All-America recognition in 2025 and are among the eight fourth-year men on the 2026 roster.

Hudson, the conference's Defensive Player of the Year last season, will again be joined by senior Jake Kimmich (Murrysville, Pa./Franklin Regional) at center back. Kimmich earned First Team All-Conference last year after starting all 20 matches. Both men are entering their third season as full-time starters on Grove City's backline.

Senior Theo Campbell (Robinson Township, Pa./Robinson Township Christian) returns as a starter at outside back. Campbell made 19 starts last year and contributed a career-high three assists while also helping lead Grove City's defensive efforts.

Gray earned Offensive Player of the Year in the conference last year after ringing up 14 goals and seven assists in 20 appearances. With 24 career goals, including eight game-winners, Gray is expected to be a focal point of Grove City's offensive attack again this year.

Seniors Carlo Denis (Greensburg, Pa./Greensburg Central Catholic), Ryan Higgs (Pittsburgh, Pa./Upper St. Clair) and Ryan Merrick (Cranberry Township, Pa./Eden Christian) are also back on the offensive end.

Merrick scored five goals in 2025 after a four-goal sophomore season. He and Denis both started nine matches last year. Denis, who has played in 58 career matches, scored twice last year.

Higgs has played in 39 matches over the last two seasons and will compete for a full-time spot at forward or midfielder this season.

Senior Anthony D'Ippolito (Mars, Pa./Eden Christian) will push for the starting goalkeeper spot this year after making a pair of starts in 2025. He went 1-1 with a 1.07 goals-against average as a junior.

Junior midfielder Luke Ladas (Parsippany, N.J./Parsippany Hills) emerged as a sophomore by scoring six goals in his 18 starts. Ladas, who also had two assists, merited Honorable Mention All-PAC following the 2025 season. He will again look to be a key cog in the Wolverines' offensive attack.

Junior midfielder Evan Yoder (Milton, Pa./Milton) will compete for a full-time starting spot after making 10 starts in each of his first two seasons at the College. Yoder has 38 career appearances to his credit. He posted a pair of goals and two assists in 2025.

Junior defender Titus Layton (Lititz, Pa./Warwick) played a career-high 16 matches in 2025 and will aim to fill one of the vacancies in the starting lineup.

Fellow juniors Evan Ensminger (Easton, Md./Easton) and Kale Timmons (Granville, Ohio/Granville) are also looking to break into the starting lineup at defender after playing as reserves in 2024 and 2025.

Ten returning sophomores dot the Grove City roster, with five of those second-year men having played extensively as rookies. In goal, Keller Krieger (Jacksonville, Fla./Providence) earned First Team All-PAC honors in 2025 after posting a 14-2-2 record and a single-season Grove City record 0.52 GAA.

Midfielders Cristian Garcia (Miami, Fla./Florida Christian) and Nate Wilcox (Helena, Mont./Capital) both played in all 20 matches as freshmen. Both men are competing for starting spots, as is sophomore forward Judah Gray (Glen Mills, Pa./The Christian Academy). Gray played in 16 outings last year, posting two goals.

Sophomore forward Andrew Perry (Minnetrista, Minn./Southwest Christian) will compete alongside the younger Gray up front. Perry made two starts among his 17 appearances in 2025.

Defender Chris Ceresoli (Fort Worth, Texas/Northwest), defender Flavio Escareno (Wheaton, Ill./Wheaton Warrensville South), forward David Lapp (Lancaster, Pa./Lancaster Mennonite), midfielder Owen Mowery (Landisville, Pa./Hempfield) and midfielder Owen Whitehead (Mesa, Ariz./Arete Prep) all saw action as rookies and will look to break into the lineup this fall.

Head coach Mike Dreves also welcomes a dozen newcomers, including two transfers, into the fold.

Grove City opens the season Tuesday, September 1 by hosting perennial power Carnegie Mellon at 7 p.m. The Wolverines open the season with a four-game homestand. Conference play begins Wednesday, September 16 at 4:30 p.m. when the Wolverines host Bethany at Don Lyle Field.
