GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Grove City College men's tennis team enters the 2026-27 season with several veterans, promising newcomers and ample optimism as the Wolverines look to return to the top of the Presidents' Athletic Conference.

A trio of All-Conference honorees are back to help anchor the lineup this season. Junior Allen Morris (Perry, Ohio/Perry), junior Ryan Kirkpatrick (Muscatine, Iowa/Muscatine) and junior Garrett Ranney (Wooster, Ohio/Wooster) are all returning starters who captured All-PAC recognition in 2025-26.

Morris earned First Team in both singles and doubles play. He is expected to be at or near the top of both lineups again this year.

Kirkpatrick earned Second Team laurels in both singles and doubles action as a sophomore. He played primarily at fourth singles and second doubles and is a candidate to move up in the lineup this year.

Ranney will also look to move up the singles and doubles lineup this year. An All-PAC honoree in both singles and doubles, he played primarily third doubles while also seeing time in a variety of singles flights. Ranney went 7-1 in conference play at fifth singles last year.

Two seniors will also look to move into the lineup on a regular basis this year, Jonah Chen (Auburn, Maine/Edward Little) and Rodrigo Galvez Morales (Guatemala City, Guatemala).

Chen saw part-time duty last year, his second season in the program. Morales, a fourth-year member of the program, has been a part-time starter in singles and doubles.

Grove City also welcomes back junior Luke Huber (Kerrville, Texas/Ingram) for his third season. Like Morales, Huber has been a part-time starter in both singles and doubles action. He will contend for a regular lineup spot this year.

Sophomores Andrew Bocci (Butler, Pa./Butler) and Wyatt McRitchie (Medina, Ohio/Medina) are back for their second season at the College. Bocci became a fixture in the singles lineup, going 5-3 during his rookie campaign. He aims to move up in the lineup this season.

McRitchie saw reserve action last year and will contend for a spot in the Grove City lineup this year.

Grove City will also feature several newcomers on the roster this year, including senior Sawyer Strong (Westfield, Ind./Westfield), junior Micah Moyer (Sunbury, Pa./Shikellamy) and sophomore Hunter Kheshvadjian (Mesa, Ariz./Saint Mary's).

Ben Crefeld (Beaver, Pa./Blackhawk), Bryan Jebaraj (Pittsburgh, Pa./South Fayette) and Jaxson Mayer (Allison Park, Pa./Hampton) comprise this year's rookie crop.

Grove City will play six matches – all at home – during the fall portion of the schedule. The Wolverines will host Houghton at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 29.
