GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's tennis program will spend plenty of time at Walters-Zbell Courts this autumn as the Wolverines will play 8 of their 12 scheduled fall matches at home.

The Wolverines will be the first Grove City sports team to play at home in the 2026-27 academic year as the open the season Saturday, August 29 by hosting Houghton at 1 p.m. in non-conference action. That is the first of four straight home Saturday matches for the squad.

One week later, Grove City opens September by welcoming Wooster for a 12 p.m. non-conference clash September 5. The Presidents' Athletic Conference schedule kicks off the following Saturday, September 12, as Grove City hosts local rival Westminster at noon.

The Wolverines open their road schedule Wednesday, September 16 by traveling to Washington & Jefferson for a 5 p.m. conference match. That is also Grove City's first mid-week match of the season. 

Grove City returns to Walters-Zbell Courts Saturday, September 19 for another noon conference match, this time against Waynesburg University. Three days later, Grove City will host conference newcomer Saint Francis at 4 p.m. The match will not count in the conference standings as Saint Francis is in its first season of transitioning from NCAA Division I to Division III.

Three of Grove City's next four matches will be on the road, starting with a Saturday, September 26 clash at league rival Geneva. Two days later, the Wolverines travel to Steubenville to face conference foe Franciscan at 4:30 p.m.

Grove City celebrates Homecoming Weekend in early October by hosting Penn State Behrend at 12 p.m. October 3 in a non-conference match.

The Wolverines trek to Thiel in the road finale Wednesday, October 7. Consecutive home Saturday matches will close the regular season fall schedule. Grove City hosts Allegheny at 10 a.m. Saturday, October 10 and then welcomes Saint Vincent at 12 p.m. the following Saturday. 

The six-team conference tournament will begin the following week. Grove City's spring 2027 schedule of matches will be announced over the winter. 

Head coach Shea Prins will welcome the Wolverines back to campus in mid-August for preseason exercises.
