HIRAM, Ohio -- Ten Grove City College men's lacrosse players scored multiple goals Wednesday evening as the Wolverines closed the regular season with a 28-2 Presidents' Athletic Conference road win over Hiram at Charles Henry Field. Grove City (11-7, 9-0) extended its winning streak to nine games with Wednesday's triumph.

Tucker Saums (Greensboro, N.C./Northwest Guilford) paced the Wolverines by scoring four goals while freshman attack
Owen Edkins (Liberty Township, Ohio/Lakota East) registered three goals.

The Wolverines led 8-0 after one quarter and extended the lead to 19-1 by halftime.Â
Lyons also assisted on five goals while Parker totaled four assists. Junior midfielder
Tyson Bui (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton) collected two assists. Edkins, Faircloth, Greene, Peacock, sophomore midfielder
Ethan Binns (Saint Johns, Fla./The Bolles School) and freshman defender
Griffin Fox (Charlotte, N.C./Charlotte Christian) also tallied assists.Â
Freshman midfielders
Zach Moravec (West Chicago, Ill./Wheaton Academy) and
Jake Olson (Chesapeake Beach, Md./St. Mary's Ryken) both picked up five ground balls. Peacock and senior
Colton Lehberg (Rancho Santa Fe, Calif./Santa Fe Christian) both had four ground balls. Collins and Olson both caused two turnovers. Lehberg won 12 of 13 faceoffs.Â
Grove City finished the game with 15 turnovers while Hiram had 27 turnovers. The Wolverines also accumulated a 65-11 edge in total shots. Grove City had 47 shots on goal whereas Hiram had nine shots on goal.
Senior
Tyler Gladstone (Marriottsville, Md./Marriotts Ridge) made seven saves in his 30 minutes of action. Junior
Kyle Gill (North Huntingdon, Pa./Norwin) played 30 scoreless minutes in goal.
Grove City will be the top seed in the upcoming conference tournament. The Wolverines will host No. 4 Westminster or No. 5 Franciscan next Wednesday, April 29.Â
