GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's tennis team improved to 6-1 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference by picking up a 7-0 win Wednesday afternoon over visiting Saint Vincent (13-5, 4-3) at Walters-Zbell Courts. 

Grove City (7-4) swept the three doubles matches to secure the doubles point. Grove City then won all six singles matches to complete the shutout. Five of the six singles wins came in straight sets. 

The win gives Grove City the No. 2 seed in the season-ending six-team conference tournament. The Wolverines will receive a bye into the semifinal round and will host a tournament semifinal Thursday, April 23. 

First, the Wolverines will conclude their conference schedule Friday at 4 p.m. by hosting Westminster at Walters-Zbell Courts.
