Breck Peacock (Wayne, Ill./Wheaton Academy) both posted first quarter hat tricks Wednesday night to help the Grove City College men's lacrosse team earn a 16-3 win over visiting Allegheny in Presidents' Athletic Conference action at rain-soaked Robert E. Thorn Field.

Owen Edkins (Liberty Township, Ohio/Lakota East) all scored twice for Grove City (5-7, 4-0), which pulled into a share of first place in the conference with Saint Vincent.
Bui joined Faircloth and Peacock in scoring first period goals as the Wolverines led 7-0 after one quarter. Blazek scored with three seconds left in the half to give the Wolverines an 8-0 halftime lead.
Blazek then opened the second-half scoring with his second goal 83 second into the third quarter. Edkins, freshman attack

Caden Ryan (Reading, Pa./Schuylkill Valley) and freshman midfielder
Tucker Saums (Greensboro, N.C./Northwest Guilford) also scored in the third quarter as Grove City extended its lead to 13-0.

Colton Lehberg (Rancho Santa Fe, Calif./Santa Fe Christian) won 9 of 11 faceoffs and picked up a team-leading six ground balls. Sophomore
Evan Gill (Irwin, Pa./Norwin) won 7 of 8 faceoff opportunities. Freshman midfielder
Jake Olson (Chesapeake Beach, Md./St. Mary's Ryken) collected four ground balls.
Grove City outshot Allegheny, 60-27. Grove City had 36 shots on goal while Allegheny (3-6, 1-2) put 12 shots on goal. Junior goalie
Kyle Gill (Irwin, Pa./Norwin) earned the win by making a career-high nine saves.
Allegheny had 23 turnovers while Grove City committed 20 turnovers.
The Wolverines will visit conference foe Washington & Jefferson next Wednesday at 7 p.m.
