BETHANY, W.Va. -- The Grove City College men's volleyball team captured a 25-20, 25-12, 25-20 victory Tuesday night at Bethany in Presidents' Athletic Conference action at Hummel Field House. The victory clinches Grove City's spot in the season-ending six-team conference tournament.
Juniors
Max Gianneski (Butler, Pa./Butler) and
Carson Good (Jeannette, Pa./Penn-Trafford) both posted nine kills for Grove City (11-14, 4-6) while junior
Andrew Kessler (Jeannette, Pa./Penn-Trafford) added six kills.Â
Senior
Tieg Malcolm (New Philadelphia, Ohio/Homeschooled) served a Grove City-record seven aces. The seven aces are the most by a conference player in one match so far in 2026.Â
Junior setter
Craig Fair (Stevens, Pa./Cocalico) recorded 25 assists.Â
Fair, Malcolm and freshman
Evan DiMalanta (Medina, Ohio/Highland) all had three blocks for the Wolverines. Fair and Gianneski both had four digs.Â
Grove City will close its regular season road schedule next Wednesday, April 1, at Chatham. The conference match will begin at 7 p.m. The regular season winds up Saturday, April 4 at 11 a.m. when the Wolverines host conference rival Hiram.
