GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's volleyball team opened its Presidents' Athletic Conference schedule Wednesday night by dropping a 25-21, 25-12, 25-20 decision to visiting Thiel (11-6, 2-0) in the Grove City College Arena. 

Junior Andrew Kessler (Jeannette, Pa./Penn-Trafford) led Grove City (7-7, 0-1) with six kills while classmate Carson Good (Jeannette, Pa./Penn-Trafford) totaled five kills. Junior setter Craig Fair (Stevens, Pa./Cocalico) recorded 11 assists.

Good, Kessler and senior Tieg Malcolm (New Philadelphia, Ohio/Homeschooled) all had three blocks. Fair led Grove City with six digs. Freshman Evan DiMalanta (Medina, Ohio/Highland) contributed five digs. 

Grove City will visit conference foe Saint Vincent at 1 p.m. Saturday.
