GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Presidents' Athletic Conference honored three Grove City College fall sports athletes with weekly distinction Monday afternoon in recognition of their respective performances last week.

Kendra Klusch (Alliance, Ohio/Homeschooled) earned this week's conference's Defensive Player of the Week award. Freshman
Reagan Dougherty (Sewickley, Pa./Eden Christian) captured Newcomer of the Week in women's tennis and freshman midfielder
Ana Hahn (Beaver, Pa./Beaver) earned Newcomer of the Week in women's soccer.
Klusch averaged 1.83 blocks per set to help Grove City go 2-0 last week. She recorded four blocks last Wednesday in a home sweep of Geneva before adding seven total blocks Saturday in a 3-0 win over Waynesburg.
Klusch currently ranks second in the conference in blocks, averaging 1.05 per set. She has moved into a tie for 10th place in program history with 283 career blocks. That mark ranks fourth on Grove City's career list in the rally scoring era (2001-present).
Dougherty went a combined a 4-0 last week as Grove City earned wins over Franciscan (7-0) and Penn State Behrend (6-1). At Franciscan, she earned a 6-4, 6-1 win at third singles after teaming with sophomore
Grace Stitt (Gibsonia, Pa./Hampton) for a 6-0 win at No. 2 doubles. Saturday against visiting Behrend, Dougherty dropped only one game at third singles and teamed with Stitt for a 6-1 win at second doubles.
Dougherty is 7-0 in both singles and doubles play this season.
Hahn recorded an assist last Tuesday afternoon in Grove City's 3-0 victory at Saint Francis. Three days later, Hahn scored the opening goal in Grove City's 4-1 Homecoming Weekend victory over Chatham at Don Lyle Field. She has made five starts and seven appearances for the Wolverines this fall.
The Grove City volleyball team (15-3, 2-0) will host Westminster at 7 p.m. Wednesday. The women's tennis team (7-0) hosts Saint Francis at 12 p.m. Tuesday in a rescheduled match. Meanwhile, the Grove City women's soccer squad (8-1-2, 4-0-1) hosts also hosts Westminster at 7 p.m. Wednesday.
