GROVE CITY, Pa. -- Grove City College sophomore cornerback Cameron Epps (Pittsburgh, Pa./South Allegheny) earned placement on D3football.com's "Team of the Week" Tuesday night in recognition of his performance last Saturday night at Westminster.

Epps intercepted two passes in the second half of the Wolverines' 34-19 comeback win. He returned his first interception 64 yards for a touchdown with 3:41 left, giving Grove City a 20-16 lead that the Wolverines did not relinquish.

Epps then helped seal the win in the fourth quarter by intercepting another pass with 3:23 remaining in the game. He also made six tackles in Saturday night's victory.

Epps earned Presidents' Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors Monday afternoon. He leads the league with five interceptions.

Epps is the first Grove City player to be named to the "Team of the Week" this season. The "Team of the Week" is D3football.com's weekly honor roll of recognizing top performances at each position.

Grove City (3-2, 2-0) will host Hiram at 1 p.m. Saturday in conference action.
