GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's soccer team opened its home schedule Saturday afternoon by dropping a 6-0 decision to visiting Case Western Reserve (4-0) in non-conference action at Don Lyle Field. The Spartans led 4-0 at halftime.

Maddie Mills (Niskayuna, N.Y./Niskayuna) made seven saves in goal for Grove City (0-2-1). Case Western Reserve outshot the Wolverines, 28-2. The Spartans also held a 6-3 edge in corner kicks.
Alexis Sassower and Andrea Silva both recorded a goal and an assist for Case Western Reserve, which had six different goal scorers.
Grove City visits Dickinson next Saturday at 12 p.m. in Carlisle, Pa.
