GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's soccer team moved to 1-0-1 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference by tying visiting Allegheny, 1-1, in conference action Saturday afternoon at Don Lyle Field.

Grove City (2-4-2) broke the scoreless tie at 52:38 when junior midfielder Tori Stevenson (Butler, Pa./Butler) scored her third goal of the season. Freshman forward Lauren Muhanna (Moon Township, Pa./Moon) assisted Stevenson's goal.

Allegheny (2-5-3, 1-0-1) tied the match at 78:53 on a goal by Casey Bender.

Grove City outshot the Gators, 22-10, including a 7-4 margin in shots on goal. The Wolverines had nine corner kicks while Allegheny netted one corner. 

Junior goalie Maddie Mills (Niskayuna, N.Y./Niskayuna) stopped three shots for the Wolverines.

Grove City will visit Geneva at 7 p.m. Tuesday in conference action.
