LATROBE, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's golf team earned third place out of six teams Monday afternoon at the Saint Vincent Fall Invitational. Grove City accumulated a team score of 393 at Latrobe Country Club. Westminster won the event with a 359 while host Saint Vincent finished second with a 378 total.
Grove City placed a pair of golfers in the top 10 at Monday's event. Junior
Lauren Kardos (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Allegheny) placed third overall with an 83 while senior Hailey Muñoz (Sparta, N.J./Morris Catholic) earned seventh by shooting 87.Â

Rebekah Gaehring (Hawthorne, N.J./Hawthorne) finished 21st by carding a 105 while sophomore
Sydney Goettel (Churchville, N.Y./Churchville-Chili) shot 110, good for 28th place. Senior
Julianna Jacobs (Conneaut Lake, Pa./Conneaut) rounded out the lineup with a 127, placing her 41st.
Two Grove City performers competed as individuals. Sophomore
Gabrielle Kinneer (Mount Pleasant, Pa./Mount Pleasant) took 27th with a 109 while junior
Madylin Galbreath (Ellwood City, Pa./Ellwood City) finished 32nd with a round of 113.
Geneva's Madison Sharek earned medalist with an 82. Forty-two women competed in the event.Â
Grove City returns to action September 21-22 at the two-day Allegheny Invitational in Meadville.
