ERIE, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's soccer team held a 19-5 edge in total shots Wednesday afternoon at Penn State Behrend but the Wolverines dropped a 1-0 non-conference road decision to Behrend (2-1-1).

Behrend broke a scoreless tie with 4:55 remaining in the match as Bryce Large scored his first goal of the season. 

Freshman goalie Keller Krieger (Jacksonville, Fla./Providence) stopped two shots in 90 minutes of action for Grove City (1-2-1). Grove City outshot the Lions in the first half, 11-2, before posting an 8-3 edge over the final 45 minutes. Grove City had a 5-3 edge in shots on goal and a 7-2 margin in corner kicks.

Grove City will host Buffalo State in non-conference play Saturday at 2 p.m. at Don Lyle Field.
