MEADVILLE, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's tennis team concluded the 2024-25 season Monday afternoon by dropping a 4-0 decision at top-seeded Allegheny in the championship match of the Presidents' Athletic Conference Tournament.
Allegheny (20-6) claimed the doubles point by winning all three doubles matches. A trio of singles wins sewed up the overall victory.
Second-seeded Grove City entered the tournament as the No. 2 seed with a 7-1 conference record. The Wolverines finish 11-5 overall. Junior
Isaac DeMan (Rockford, Mich./Rockford) and freshman Ryan Morris (Perry, Ohio/Perry) earned All-Tournament honors. Grove City reached the finals with its 4-0 semifinal win last Thursday over No. 3 Franciscan.
Grove City will lose seniors
Nathan Clark (Monroeville, Pa./Gateway) and
Wesley Kiehl (Warren, Pa./Warren) to graduation.
