GREENVILLE, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's volleyball team dropped a 25-17, 25-15, 21-25, 25-8 decision Friday night to Thiel in Presidents' Athletic Conference action at the Tomcats' Rissell-Beeghly Gymnasia.
Senior
Quintin Norris (Savannah, N.Y./North Rose-Wolcott) recorded a team-leading nine kills for Grove City (8-11, 3-2). Sophomore
Max Gianneski (Butler, Pa./Butler) and freshman
Keith Otto (Jeannette, Pa./Penn-Trafford) both contributed eight kills.
Sophomore setter
Craig Fair (Stevens, Pa./Cocalico) tallied 25 assists. Norris led the defense with three blocks. Freshman
Ben McVey (Midlothian, Va./Cosby) collected a team-high 11 digs.
Friday's match started a four-match road swing for the Wolverines. Grove City returns to action next Saturday, March 8 at Chatham.
