GROVE CITY, Pa. -- Grove City College senior linebacker Caleb Brubaker (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Mechanicsburg) and freshman linebacker Nick Clemens (Moon Township, Pa./Moon) both earned Presidents' Athletic Conference honors Monday afternoon in recognition of their respective performances Saturday afternoon in the Wolverines' 28-14 victory at Case Western Reserve. 

Brubaker recorded two sacks, an interception, three tackles for loss, 11 solo tackles and 15 total tackles Saturday at Case Western Reserve His interception with 1:39 left in the game helped preserve what was a 21-14 lead at the time. He also had six tackles and a sack in the fourth quarter.

Brubaker helped Grove City (7-2, 6-1) hold the Spartans to 71 rushing yards on 27 attempts and a 4-of-16 performance on third down.

Brubaker leads the conference with 12.5 tackles for loss and ranks third in the loop with 6.5 sacks. He leads the Wolverines with 83 total tackles. 

Clemens blocked a fourth quarter punt at Case Western Reserve, then returned the block 10 yards for the decisive touchdown. He also recorded a sack and four total tackles in his second collegiate start.

Clemens has three blocked kicks this season, along with 2.5 sacks and three tackles for loss. He has also been credited with four quarterback hurries. 

Winners of six straight, the Wolverines visit Hiram in the regular season finale Saturday at 1 p.m.
