WAYNESBURG, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's tennis team closed its Presidents' Athletic Conference schedule Monday afternoon by sweeping host Waynesburg, 7-0, at Bechtle Family Tennis Facility. 

The Wolverines (8-2, 7-1) dropped only two games in doubles play. Grove City then clinched the team victory by sweeping all six singles matches in straight sets. Grove City dropped only three games in singles action.

Grove City will host a conference tournament semifinal Thursday, October 16. The Wolverines will either be the No. 1 or No. 2 seed in the six-team draw.

First, the Wolverines will conclude the regular season Thursday at 3 p.m. when they host PennWest Edinboro in non-conference action at Walters-Zbell Courts.
