GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's volleyball team dropped a 25-22, 17-25, 25-13, 25-19 decision Wednesday night to visiting Allegheny (11-9, 5-4) in Presidents' Athletic Conference North Division action at the Grove City College Arena.
Junior
Sarah Hart (Marriottsville, Md./Liberty) paced Grove City (11-6, 4-5) with a dozen kills while classmate
Alayna Dorst (Middletown, Del./Middletown) totaled 10 kills. Senior
Lila Stonehouse (Hatboro, Pa./Abington) added seven kills.
Sophomore setter
Brooke Manfull (Wadsworth, Ohio/Wadsworth) recorded 17 assists and junior
Sarah Harris (Lebanon, Ohio/Mars Hill) chipped in 15 assists.
Dorst paced Grove City's defense with 11 digs. Senior
Bella Costa (Newbury, Ohio/Cuyahoga Valley Christian) and sophomore
Lilly Wojtala (Copley, Ohio/Revere) both had 10 digs. Harris chalked up nine digs.
Sophomore
Lilly Pool (Ashland, Ohio/Ashland) tallied a team-high five blocks and freshman
Ella D'Ippolito (Mars, Pa./Eden Christian) contributed four blocks.
The Wolverines will host Saint Vincent at 1 p.m. Saturday in a Presidents' Athletic Conference interdivisional match.
