WARREN, Ohio -- The Grove City College women's golf team placed fourth out of 11 teams at the two-day Presidents' Athletic Conference Fall Championships, held Monday and Tuesday at Squaw Creek Golf Club. The Wolverines compiled a 36-hole team score of 750.
Junior
Lauren Kardos (Pittsburgh, Pa./North Allegheny) led Grove City by finishing seventh overall. Kardos shot an 83 Monday, then posted an 87 Tuesday for a two-day score of 170. Sophomore
Gabrielle Kinneer (Mount Pleasant, Pa./Mount Pleasant) took 18th with a 185 (92-93).
Senior Hailey Muñoz (Sparta, N.J./Morris Catholic) tied for 21st with a 189 (92-97). Senior
Rebekah Gaehring (Hawthorne, N.J./Hawthorne) earned 32nd with a two-day total of 206 (105-101) and sophomore
Sydney Goettel (Churchville, N.Y./Churchville-Chili) rounded out the lineup with a 211 total. Goettell shot 105 Monday, then followed with a 106 Tuesday.
Westminster's Ava Liburdi earned medalist with a 160 (80-80). Westminster owns the conference lead after the Fall Championships, having accumulated a team score of 668.
The Fall Championships represent the first half of the 2025-26 conference golf championships. The teams will play 36 more holes April 24-25, 2026 at the Spring Championships. That event will be held at Mill Creek Golf Course in Boardman, Ohio.
