GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College men's soccer team opened its 10-match Presidents' Athletic Conference schedule Wednesday afternoon by earning a 2-0 home win over Bethany at Don Lyle Field.

Grove City (4-1-2, 1-0 PAC) pulled ahead by scoring twice in the second half. Sophomore midfielder Noah Gray (Glen Mills, P.a/The Christian Academy) opened the scoring at 51:26 when he headed in a cross from freshman forward Evan Yoder (Milton, Pa./Milton). It is Gray's team-leading fourth goal of the season as well as his second game-winning tally.

Junior defender Aidan Eck (Akron, Ohio/Cuyahoga Valley Christian) doubled the lead at 83:10 when he blasted in a corner kick from the top left corner of the penalty area. It is Eck's third goal of 2024 and the 10th of his career.
