Matt Blythe (Mendon, N.Y./Honeoye Falls-Lima) and four goals from freshman attack
Kobi Bui (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton), the Grove City College men's lacrosse team earned its third straight Presidents' Athletic Conference win by downing visiting Westminster, 20-7, Saturday afternoon at Robert E. Thorn Field.
Six teammates joined Blythe and Bui in the scoring column Saturday. Junior midfielder
Luke Jayne (Vero Beach, Fla./Saint Andrew's) tossed in three goals while sophomore attack
Zachary Hougan (Springboro, Ohio/Springboro) and freshman midfielder
Boden Davidson (Scottsdale, Ariz./Scottsdale Christian) each scored twice.
Senior midfielder
David Kraus (Sewickley, Pa./Quaker Valley), senior midfielder
Brett Gladstone (Marriottsville, Md./Marriotts Ridge) and senior long stick midfielder
Addison Bennett (Haddonfield, N.J./Haddonfield) all added goals for Grove City.
Grove City led 6-5 after one quarter, then took command of the game by scoring five straight goals in the second period. Blythe scored four goals in the quarter, with an unassisted Jayne goal at 11:37 sandwiched in between Blythe's tallies. The Wolverines led 11-6 at halftime, then carried a 16-7 lead into the fourth period.

Gladstone helped pace Grove City's defensive efforts by causing three turnovers. Bennett caused two turnovers. Westminster had 28 turnovers while Grove City turned over possession 22 times.

Andrew Glasgow (Wooster, Ohio/Wooster) led Grove City with five ground balls. Gladstone and Kraus each collected four ground balls.
Senior goalie
Jack Petit (Pensacola, Fla./West Florida High School of Advanced Technology) earned the win by making six saves in the first half. Junior
Danny Stone (Chantilly, Va./Flint Hill) stopped 9 of 10 shots on goal in the second half. Grove City outshot Westminster, 50-35, for the game.
Grove City (4-7 overall) will visit Franciscan at 7 p.m. Wednesday in conference action.
