ALFRED, N.Y. -- The Grove City College women's lacrosse team erased an early 2-0 deficit Tuesday afternoon on the way to a 14-5 victory at Alfred (2-1) in non-conference action at Yunevich Stadium. Grove City (4-1) has now won four straight games.

Brooke Stoltzfus (Elverson, Pa./Conestoga Christian) scored twice to spark the surge while sophomore midfielder
Lucy Martin (Silver Spring, Md./Montgomery Blair) gave Grove City the lead with an unassisted goal at the 4:40 mark.

Abby Roetering (Glenelg, Md./Glenelg) all scored in the final 67 seconds of the quarter to give Grove City a 6-2 lead.

Madeline Dunda (Sewickley, Pa./Quaker Valley) all scored in the second quarter as Grove City stretched the lead to 10-2 by halftime.
Nazigian led the Wolverines with four goals while Dymski and Stoltzfus each had three goals. Freshman defender
Amber Wartman (Ellicott City, Md./Mount Hebron) added a goal for Grove City. Roetering and freshman midfielder
Isabelle Campbell (Bend, Ore./Bend) both assisted two goals. Dunda, Dymski, Martin and Nazigian all recorded one assist.
Stoltzfus led Grove City with six ground balls and Dunda picked up four ground balls. Dymski, Martin, Nazigian and freshman defender
Sarah Jackson (Brookfield, Conn./Brookfield) all recorded three ground balls. Jackson also won three draw controls. Nazigian had a team-leading nine draw controls.
Martin caused four turnovers while Dunda and Stoltzfus each caused three turnovers. Nazigian and freshman
Emily Arnold (Ijamsville, Md./Urbana) caused two turnovers each. Alfred turned over possession 46 times while Grove City had 29 turnovers.

Elyse Kiggins (Zelienople, Pa./Seneca Valley) made three saves to earn the victory.
Grove City will host Mount St. Joseph at 4 p.m. Saturday in non-conference play at Don Lyle Field.
