BEREA, Ohio -- The Grove City College men's lacrosse team rallied from an 8-0 deficit to force overtime Saturday night at Baldwin Wallace. However, the host Yellow Jackets scored with six seconds left in overtime to earn an 11-10 non-conference win over Grove City (2-1) at George Feenie Stadium.

Brett Gladstone (Marriottsville, Md./Marriotts Ridge) helped lead the comeback effort by scoring four times in the fourth quarter. Senior attack

Zachary Hougan (Springboro, Ohio/Springboro) each scored twice while seniors
Addison Bennett (Haddonfield, N.J./Haddonfield) and
Michael La Forte (Waterford, Conn./Waterford) added goals.
Speers opened Grove City's scoring with 1:03 left in the first half, cutting Baldwin Wallace's lead to 8-1. After B-W went up 9-1 in the third quarter, Hougan scored twice while Bennett and La Forte added goals as Grove City halved the lead to 9-5.
Speers scored off a La Forte assist with 12:32 left. Gladstone then scored the Wolverines' final four goals, including the tying goal with 1:50 left in regulation.
La Forte finished with two assists and Gladstone added one assist.
Senior
Grant Evans (Pittsburgh, Pa./Upper Saint Clair) won 17 of 22 faceoffs for Grove City. Evans led the Wolverines with eight ground balls. Junior
David Kraus (Sewickley, Pa./Quaker Valley) picked up four ground balls.
Sophomore goalie
Danny Stone (Chantilly, Va./Flint Hill) stopped a career-high 16 shots for Grove City. Grove City outshot the Yellow Jackets, 50-45, but B-W held a 5-1 edge in the four-minute overtime session.
Grove City held a 25-18 edge in ground balls. Grove City turned over the ball 16 times and forced 14 Baldwin Wallace turnovers.
The Wolverines will visit national power Christopher Newport (Va.) at 4 p.m. Wednesday in non-conference play.
