GROVE CITY, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's tennis team dropped to 1-1 overall Monday afternoon by dropping a 7-0 home decision to NCAA Division II member Edinboro at Walters-Zbell Courts. The teams used the Division II scoring system in which the team winning the majority of doubles matches receives one team point. The teams also played doubles pro sets to six games instead of eight.
Grove City will open its road schedule Saturday at Mount Union. The match will begin at noon in Alliance, Ohio.
