SPRINGFIELD, Ohio -- The Grove City College women's soccer team dropped a 2-1 decision Saturday afternoon at Wittenberg (3-3-1) in non-conference play at Maurer Field.
Grove City (2-3) trailed 2-0 at halftime but cut the lead in half at 67:35 when senior defender 
Tirzah Lloyd (Durham, N.C./Homeschooled) scored her team-leading second goal of the season. Lloyd scored off a corner kick from sophomore midfielder 
Anna Jenkins (Lynchburg, Va./Lynchburg Christian). Jenkins recorded her second assist of the season. 
Wittenberg scored twice in the first 26 minutes of Saturday's match. Hannah Heald scored at 8:09 and Alix Steele pushed the lead to 2-0 at 25:11.
Wittenberg outshot Grove City, 11-8. Grove City doubled up Wittenberg in corner kicks, 6-3. 
Freshman goalkeeper 
Courtney Lisman (Mars, Pa./Mars) recorded six saves for Grove City.
The Wolverines will host Penn State Behrend at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Don Lyle Field.
