BEXLEY, Ohio -- Sophomore midfielder
Anna Jenkins (Lynchburg, Va./Lynchburg Christian) scored her first goal of the season in the second overtime Friday evening to help lift the Grove City College women's soccer team to a 2-1 victory at Capital in non-conference play at Bernlohr Stadium.
Jenkins broke a 1-1 tie by scoring 35 seconds into the second overtime period. That marked Grove City's first shot since the first half. It is her first game-winning goal of the season and the third game-winner of her career.Â

Tirzah Lloyd (Durham, N.C./Homeschooled) scored off a Jenkins corner kick. It is Lloyd's first goal of the season.
Capital (0-3) tied the match at 35:07 on a goal by Avery Hart.

Courtney Lisman (Mars, Pa./Mars) earned her second victory by making six saves, all in the second half. Capital owned an 18-8 edge in shots, including a 14-1 margin in the second half and overtime. Grove City had three corner kicks while the Crusaders had two corners.
Grove City will continue its Ohio trip Saturday by facing Ohio Northern at 5:30 p.m. in Ada.
