WASHINGTON, Pa. -- A nine-goal outburst in the second quarter Saturday afternoon helped vault the Grove City College men's lacrosse team to a 19-8 victory at Washington & Jefferson in Presidents' Athletic Conference action at Alexandre Stadium. Grove City broke a 3-3 tie with 12:25 remaining in the first half when sophomore long stick midfielder Kyle Coogan (Annapolis, Md./Annapolis Christian) scored his second goal of the season. That sparked Grove City's nine-goal flurry.
