STEUBENVILLE, Ohio -- The Grove City College women's tennis team dropped to 5-1 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference as host Franciscan downed the Wolverines, 7-2, in conference action Saturday afternoon.
The doubles team of sophomore
Faith Keating (Troy, Mich./Troy) and
Lillian Jeynes (Traverse City, Mich./Traverse City) earned an 8-4 win at second doubles. Sophomore
Logan Fuss (Grove City, Pa./Grove City) earned a win at No. 4 singles, 7-5 and 6-4.
Saturday's setback stopped Grove City's five-match win streak. The Wolverines will host Washington & Jefferson at 3:30 Wednesday afternoon in conference action.
