GREENSBURG, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's tennis team dropped a 5-1 decision Saturday afternoon to top-seeded Franciscan in the semifinals of the Presidents' Athletic Conference Championship Tournament, held at Greensburg Racquet Club. Inclement weather forced the tournament matches to be played indoors.
Senior
Lillian Jeynes (Traverse City, Mich./Traverse City) and freshman
Emily Ivory (Valencia, Pa./Mars) earned an 8-6 win at second doubles for No. 4 seed Grove City. Franciscan clinched the team victory by earning three wins in singles action.
Grove City (9-5 overall) will return to action in spring 2022.
