GREENVILLE, Pa. -- The Grove City College women's soccer team scored three first-half goals Wednesday night on its way to a 3-0 road victory over Presidents' Athleic Conference foe Thiel at Alumni Stadium. Grove City (11-4, 5-1 PAC) has now won six consecutive matches, including five in league play.

The Wolverines doubled their lead at the 26:49 when senior defender

Lacy Harkrader (Mineral, Va./Louisa County) scored an unassisted goal, her fourth goal of the season.
Thiel (3-12, 0-6) broke through at 65:30 when Nicole Pereksta scored on a rebound.Â
Grove City held a 19-10 edge in shots for the match, along with a 4-1 advantage in corner kicks. In goal, senior
Trishae Winters (Pittsburgh, Pa./Hampton) made four saves to secure the victory.
Grove City used 25 players in the match. The Wolverines' six-match win streak is their longest since 2014, when Grove City won eight consecutive matches from October 3 to October 28 that year. Grove City is 48-10-2 during the month of October since 2011.Â
The Wolverines will visit Waynesburg in conference play Saturday at 1 p.m.
